Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Theresa Mount, and I created MenoHello because I needed this resource myself—long before I knew it could help thousands of other women. Menopause shaped my life in unexpected ways. Heart palpitations, migraines, painful joints, vertigo, hand pain, and new food sensitivities became part of daily life. Brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, and a loss of confidence slowly pulled me away from the activities I loved, from tennis matches to weekends spent in the garden.
You can read my full menopause story here.
A Research-Led Approach to Menopause
MenoHello is rooted in curiosity and a genuine love of research, along with a desire to better understand what’s actually happening in the body during perimenopause and menopause. With undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biology and Pathology, I bring a critical, science-trained eye to how menopause research is read, evaluated, and interpreted.
I’m a scientist at heart. I’ve always loved diving deep into topics that matter to me—following the research beyond headlines, tracking down original sources, and staying open to new findings as the science evolves. Every article on MenoHello is independently researched using peer-reviewed studies, clinical guidelines, and trusted medical organizations, with the goal of making complex information clearer, more practical, and easier to understand—without sponsorship or outside influence.
My goal isn’t to tell you what to do. It’s to help you understand the evidence so you can make informed decisions in partnership with your healthcare provider and get back to living your life to the fullest.
Warmly,
Theresa
P.S. This community is for all of us. I've shared my story, and I'd love to hear yours. What has your experience been like? Are there any topics you're desperate to learn more about, or products that have made a real difference for you?
At MenoHello, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and empowering community for all individuals experiencing or seeking to understand menopause. While our primary focus is on women in perimenopause and menopause, we recognize and embrace the diversity of experiences across different ages, genders, cultures, and backgrounds. While we may occasionally use gender-specific language, we fully acknowledge that not everyone experiencing menopause identifies with the gender or pronouns commonly associated with it. We respect and celebrate the diversity of all individuals seeking information and support on their menopause journey.
We honor the journeys of those who identify as women, as well as individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, including trans and non-binary individuals, who may navigate menopause uniquely. Everyone's experience matters, and we are here to provide accessible resources to everyone navigating this transformative stage of life. Together, we celebrate resilience, advocate for understanding, and work to break down the stigma surrounding menopause for all.
While we are committed to sharing accurate and well-researched information, it's important to note that the content on this site is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Every individual’s experience with menopause is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another.
